Labor Day weekend 2011 marks my ten year anniversary of living in California. I have called San Francisco home for the past four years. (Where has the time gone!) There are so many great things to see and do. Check out some of my favorites:
Wonder Dog Rescue – Since my family adopted our Boston Terrier from Wonder Dog in 2009, I have officially become a crazy “my dog is my kid” person. If you friend me on Facebook you will become inundated with photos of my dog George.

Alemany Farmers Market – The best produce and an all around great food shopping experience (except for the parking).
Philz Coffee – The BEST coffee in San Francisco.
Arkansas Street (Potrero Hill) – Hiking up this street is great for two reasons – the view of the city skyline and a fantastic workout.

Green Apple Books – Stock up on used books then walk over to one of the best Banh Mi restaurants on Clement for lunch.
Jackson Playground – Everyone ignores all of the No Dogs Allowed signs in this park to make it one of the best unofficial dog parks in Potrero Hill.
Off the Grid – Half of the Twitter accounts that I follow are food trucks, so Off the Grid is my version of heaven.
Gary Danko – After one meal at The Danks, every subsequent dining experience will be compared to this one. You will also start to make up words like transcendal.
Golden Gate Bridge – This tourist destination may be WINDY but on a clear day the view is breathtaking.
The Unexpected – I never know what I’m going to see every time I leave the house!
